New Year's Day 2009- we were delighted to welcome Zaharinka Gabrovska from the Zonta Club of Bulgaria-Ruse and her daugher (resident in Victoria), Maya Berekoff. Several of us went to the Levee at Government House followed by a meal at the Ross Bay Pub. Zaharinka is an auditor in Bulgaria and has her own business. Maya went a different route: fashion design and then worked on a cruise ship as a photographer. It was great meeting both of them and we hope to meet again soon!
