Preventing Violence Against Women

"[Gender violence is] a development problem, a moral problem and an ethical problem. It is a problem that attacks the very essence of family life because it also affects the children — the next generation."
James Wolfensohn, President, World Bank

Zonta believes all women deserve to live a life free of violence. ZISVAW (Zonta International Strategies to Prevent Violence Against Women) seeks to prevent all forms of violence against women by supporting prevention, education and awareness initiatives worldwide.
